With over 20 years of experience in community building and advocacy, Prosper spends most of his time assisting communities and service-providing institutions to reach their strategic goals. He has worked with countless groups, organizations, and professionals in the U.S. and abroad on topics regarding strategic planning, organizational leadership development, and equity and inclusion. He is passionate about the engagement of marginalized people in the democratic process, and his graduate research explored the decline of college student political engagement. He has spent several years in higher ed diversity programming and continues to teach courses related to political science and ethics. In his 2018 book No Entry: Examining the Power that Undermines our Full Potential, he demonstrates explicitly how political power perpetuates inequities and keeps oppressed people from reaching their full potential. He founded Prosper & Partners 10 years ago with the vision of helping people work better together in order to reach their individual and organizational goals.
Prior to graduate school, Adam served children in crisis for seven years as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, and Crisis Stabilization Counselor. Since graduate school, Haizlip has worked for over a decade as an educator in both K12 and post-secondary education, here and abroad. As a P&P Senior Consultant and Project Director Adam continues to help groups “work better together” through the utilization of the “Targeted Universalism” framework as well as intentional outreach and collaboration to improve the conditions for and with those furthest away from justice; which inevitably enhances experiences of justice for everyone. Haizlip, a Southern California native is currently based in Seattle, Washington, and passionately lives out the mantra Asset Based Everything through Engagement, Encouragement, and Empowerment.
Kemp has 39 years of experience in K-12 and higher education as a high school teacher, counselor, and administrator as well as the Vice President for Student Affairs at an undergraduate college where she oversaw all co-curricular and student services including residence life, student health and prevention programs, student activities, DIII athletics, campus security, student retention and enrollment management, and community engagement. Since retirement, she has consulted various educational and non-profit agencies independently and as Senior Consultant with P&P. Her areas of expertise are organizational assessment and strategic planning, leadership development, and equity training. She is currently based in East Tennessee where her civic engagement includes The League of Women Voters, the local Public Radio board, the NAACP, and her local Board of Education.

Austin Ashe, Ph.D., is the Associate Director for Undergraduate Education at MIT Sloan School of Management. His personal scholarship focuses on pedagogy, DEI, and higher ed management, and his goal is to prepare college students for graduate school success and positive career outcomes.
Abdelwahhab Alawneh, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of the Arab and Middle East Resources Center (AMERC). He works as an international consultant with the Community Anti- Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) and LIFE for Relief and Development. In recognition of his work, he has received the Peace Award by the Universal Peace Federation.
Kya Roumimper Ascani is a social justice educator working to embolden communities to organize, mobilize, and resist systems of oppression. Her work towards liberation is community-focused, and sustainability positioned, rooted in restorative practices. She works alongside communities to develop their equity lenses and advocacy skills. She has previously served Keene State College as the Equity Education and Community Advocacy Director and the Coordinator of Multicultural Support and Success. Kya possesses a strong background in coalition building, strategic partnerships, equity training, and grant writing. Kya holds a B.A in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Keene State College and M.Ed in Community Engagement from the Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
Rikki Barton, M.A., MAPS, IC&RC Certified, is an experienced facilitator and trainer, working with groups to build strategic plans. With 12 years of experience in the prevention industry/sector, her areas of expertise include assessment, capacity building, planning implementation, evaluation with a focus on leadership development, sustainability, and cultural competence.
Rebecca Berkey, Ph.D., is the Director of Community-Engaged Teaching & Research at Northeastern University where she oversees a nationally recognized service-learning program that includes 50-60 courses and up to 1,000 students per semester working with over 75 community partner organizations throughout Greater Boston. Her scholarship has focused on environmental justice in higher education.
Samuel Boduch, MBA, is the Sustainability and Operations Manager for EarthShift Global which provides environmental sustainability software, training, and consulting to partners in industry, academic, and government. He combines an academic background in organizational sustainability and business with practical expertise in administration and leadership, sustainability, grants and fund development, and educational outreach.
Rebecca Bolton, AA and BS, is an experienced educator and trainer focused on special needs students as well as community outreach. She offers expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion work and constantly sharpens her skills around allyship, particularly for people of color and the differently abled, through participation in community projects and organizations that focus on social justice and antiracism.
Durryle Brooks, Ph.D., is the Founder and CEO of Love and Justice Consulting, LLC, helping leaders increase their capacity for effective and authentic engagement. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Brooks’ research has focused on the impact of systemic oppression on holistic health within Black and LGBT communities. He teaches social justice education pedagogy, curriculum design, healing and trauma-informed approaches, and strengths-based practices to address educational and health disparities. He is a Research Associate in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Joe Fitzgerald, Ed.D, is currently a Dean/Classroom Management Specialist for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. He equips learners of all levels and ages utilizing data processing methodology to ensure the most appropriate and transformative educational outcomes. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Fitzgerald combines traditional and nontraditional strategies to engage learners to maximize engagement.
Julee Flood, Ph.D. and J.D., is an attorney and higher education scholar with diverse legal, policy, and leadership experience in both public and private organizations. With an extensive academic and practical background, Dr. Flood is keenly aware of the intersection of legal requisites placed on institutions, resources required for compliance, and internal decision-making responsibilities within fall sectors.
Carla Fullwood, Ph.D., is the current Director of Inclusive Excellence Education and Development at Elon University. Her areas of expertise include designing and facilitating intergroup dialogues and professional development opportunities focused on social justice education, racial equity, and intercultural competence. She has a passion for all things around diversity, equity, and inclusion within the education sector.
Roxanne Longoria, M.A., currently serves as the Director of Youth Homelessness Initiatives in the Mayor’s Office of Health & Human Services for the City of Boston. In this role, Roxanne leads implementation of Boston’s Rising to the Challenge Action Plan: A Plan to Prevent and End Youth and Young Adult Homelessness. In 2015, she was recognized by El Planeta in the POWERMETER 100 List of the 100 Most Influential People for Latinos.
Brian Gilpin, M.A., is the Advising Coordinator for the Department of Nursing at Pellissippi State Community College. He is a passionate, student-focused higher education professional who offers seven years of experience developing students into superior collegiate students, bringing significant experience with federally funded grant programs, student support services, and financial aid procedures.
Dr. Nancy S. Gregg, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor of Education at Carson Newman University. She has over 30 years of educational experience including 20 years of grant writing and peer review. She specializes in multicultural education, educational partnerships, and instructional methods. One of her passions is to expand opportunities for student engagement in study abroad and service-learning projects within educational settings.
WhitworthKee, a consulting firm that partners with other organizations to advance the field of education, close the achievement gap, and promote K-12 school reform. Offering research, data management, technical assistance and professional development services, WhitworthKee supports the development of inclusive and equitable environments.

Isaac Mbimi, SAP and CISSP, is currently a Senior Big Data Consultant at CITIGROUP. He is also CEO of Seremo, founder of the NGO Mbimi Family Foundation for Youth, and a member of the executive board of the African Diaspora Group. Isaac has over 10 years of experience in big data management, automation system engineering, designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms, analyzing and ensuring that systems will be securely integrated with current applications and business uses.
Luther McKinney, Ph.D., is retired from a career in high education. He now consults across sectors with expertise in adaptive learning for students, school reform (K-20), higher education governance and policy, mentorship in higher education, college enrollment management, organizational data management, and program assessment.
Wilson Okello, Ph.D., is an Asst. Professor of Higher Education at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. Bridging the artist-scholar divide, Dr. Okello draws on Black feminist theories to think about the relationship between history, the body, and epistemology; critical masculinities; and anti-deficit curriculum and pedagogy.
Colber Prosper, M.S., is the Founder and CEO of Prosper & Partners International Consulting Firm, LLC where he has served as Senior Consultant for 10+ years. He is an expert in various areas like education, organizational development, political engagement and community public health. However, all of this work is centered around building community and creating inclusive spaces for all. He is passionate about spirituality, social justice, humans and South Florida sport teams.
Adrienne Schwarte, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Design and Coordinator of Sustainability Studies at Maryville College, offering over 18 years of experience in graphic design and photography along with a focus on environmental sustainability. “Design and photography have a social context and social bias based on the artist’s intentions, which is ever present in my mind when I work.”
Yvonne Stroman, MA, CRS is the Community Programs Specialist for the Council on Chemical Abuse in Reading, PA. Her work is centered in the non-profit sector and is focused on drug and alcohol prevention-intervention-treatment-recovery, education, youth advocacy, juvenile justice, and domestic violence. She is passionate about attaining fair and equitable treatment for all.
